Continuous monitoring

Diligence that stays current after the report.

Put a company or founder on a watchlist and MarketPrior re-screens it on a cadence. When a new sanctions match, lawsuit, filing or hiring change appears, you get one alert with the evidence attached.

Cadence

Each data layer on its own clock.

Pick daily, weekly or monthly for each subject. Fast-moving risk layers are re-checked daily; slower ones weekly. Filings are checked daily and recomputed only when a new one appears.

Hiring (public job boards)daily
Filings (Form D, XBRL, 13D/13G, UK accounts)checked daily, recomputed on a new filing

Alerts

One alert per new event, with the evidence.

Monitoring is only useful if the alerts are worth reading. So they are de-duplicated, tiered and sourced.

01

Only new, material events

Each re-screen compares what it finds with what the subject has already been alerted on. Events seen before are skipped, so a re-run never repeats an alert.

02

Evidence on every alert

An alert carries the source link, the quoted passage and a confidence. You can check the finding without leaving the alert.

03

Tiered watch-list matches

A new sanctions or PEP hit is tiered confirmed, probable or possible, just like in the full report, so a name-only match does not arrive as a red flag.

Freshness

You can see how old every section is.

Each report section shows when it was computed and whether it is stale or refreshing. Re-run a section and it updates on screen when it finishes.

  • Freshness badge on every section: computed, stale or refreshing
  • Re-run one section or the whole report on demand
  • Live updates in the dashboard while a refresh runs
  • The same freshness fields in the REST API

API

Alerts in your own systems.

List and acknowledge alerts, and add or remove watchlist subjects, over the REST API. Agents can read alerts over MCP.

Read the monitoring API reference or connect an agent with the MarketPrior MCP server.

Monitor slots

Monitor slots come with your plan.

Each plan comes with monitor slots. One active subject on your watchlist uses one slot; pause or remove a subject to free it.

FAQ

Monitoring questions

How often is a watchlist re-screened?
You choose a cadence for each subject: daily, weekly or monthly (weekly by default). Within a re-screen, each data layer is only refetched when its own window has passed: sanctions, litigation, adverse media and hiring daily; filings checked daily; people and web signals weekly.
What triggers an alert?
A new material event found by a re-screen, such as a new sanctions or PEP match, a new litigation or enforcement record, a registry notice or adverse media. Each alert carries its source link, a quote and a confidence, and events already alerted on are never repeated.
Can I refresh a company right now?
Yes. Re-run a section or the whole report from the dashboard or with the refresh endpoint. Sections update on screen as they finish, and each one shows how fresh it is.
How many companies can I monitor?
Each plan includes a number of monitor slots; one active watchlist subject uses one slot. The pricing page lists the slots per plan.
Can I read alerts from my own systems?
Yes. The REST API lists and acknowledges alerts and manages the watchlist. Over MCP, alerts are read-only.
